Guest guest
Hi, I just got my first batch of chicken feet. The good news is they didn't ick me out too much. The bad news is they are DIRTY. After several rinses and a scrub with a veggie scrubber I have them soaking overnight in the fridge. My doc says I need gelatin-rich broth with every meal. At this rate a good portion of my life will be spent scrubbing chicken feet! Anyone know a fast way to clean chicken feet? And how clean do they need to be (it seems like they'll never be all the way clean!)? At Asian markets I've seen clean feet for sale. Not organic, but I'm considering getting them there anyway. But do how do the Asian purveyors clean all those chicken feet? Do they use any solvents I should be aware of??? I really want to make the chicken feet work, but I'm pressed for time, any advice would be so appreciated! Daphne
