My last visit in November showed that it had come down but I have been taking the Zocor prescribed by my cardiologist a few months before and don't know if it had any bearing on the drop. I am anxious to see what changes have been made since my last visit.

I seem to recall that the formula or coating was changed on the Synthroid tablets and I am thinking it could be the dye or filler that could be causing my problems. I will present this to my doctor on my next visit.

I joined this group about a month ago and haven't posted. but have

read and saved much of what has been posted. I am 33, a professional

nanny in Dallas, and absorbing everything i read.

I was finally diagnosed as hypothyroid caused by Hashimotos a little

over two years ago. I had been asking doctors for years to test my

thyroid for years. My mother had her thyroid removed in 1986 because

of Hashi's. I have an official diagnosis but don't remember my

numbers. I also have small nodules on my thyroid that were

responding to Armour. I am currently on 120 milligrams of Armour.

wrong with me.. but can add a few. I was diagnosed as bi-polar and

prescribed Wellbutrin and Effexor, had reverse reaction to both of

those, even more depressed. I do take BC pills for cycle control

and have been prescribed sleeping pills which i have never taken as

muscle relaxants make me hyper.

After reading some of these posts I now know that my reverse

reactions to drugs are not uncommon to thryoid patients.

food store Enzymes for digestive purposed. i have take them for so

long that i cannot even remember when i began taking them nor who

told me that they would help. I feel that My Hashimoto's

Thyroiditis is/has been causing a lot of my problems. i was glad to

hear about B-12. i am going to try it.

did you get it prescribed. i know that my endo will not want to

Hypothyroid, 45 mg Armour. (Yes! My doctor increased

my dosage by 15 mg.) Doing much better than when I got to this

site. Insomnia is slowly subsiding as I move dosage toward

morning. Here's the new thing: I am adjusting to the 15 mg

increase and I feel spacy and kind of tired. Hope it goes away

in a few days. Is it the rise in T3?

My body feels like it's trying to assimilate the medication, the

way you download a huge file on a computer.

The increase in T3 may be impacting your cortisol levels, which might account for the spacey feeling. Have you had least your morning cortisol checked? You might want to do that before any further increases in Armour. Courtenay wrote:

The increase in T3 may be impacting your cortisol

levels, which might account for the spacey feeling. Have you had least

your morning cortisol checked? You might want to do that before any

further increases in Armour.

The last time I had it checked, my cortisol was .9.something

(0-20), and that was a morning draw. The time before that, it

was 10., but that draw was at 11 a.m. I was also given a timed

cortisol test, for which I came back normal.

Any additional commentary would be helpful.

If your cortisol levels are low in their range, you

may want to take a small replacement dose. This may help improve your

tolerance for thyroid hormone.
