Brit on way to WAPF conference

I saw Sally Fallon in the UK in July and I've really taken the whole

way of eating on board and feel so much better. Only recently

learned of this messageboard. Very interesting discussions!!

When I realised there were conferences on 3 things I was interested

in happening on consecutive weekends I just had to go to the USA!!!

(The weak dollar helps!) So I'll be in Phoenix 2 weekends before but

will be travelling from Springfield, Missouri the last weekend of

September (having attended an advanced EFT seminar)and have to make

my way to Washington DC for the following weekend's WAPF conference.

It's just getting through to me how vast the USA is, so any advice

of the best and cheapest way to get to DC? I was kindly directed to

some interesting websites so looks like plane is easy and cheap,

though it would have been nice to spend the time between weekends

seeing more of the US. How is the train? Best place to stay for

conference? (Anyone willing to roomshare?) How much should I budget?

My flight home is very early on the Monday morning, can I just make

my way to Dulles airport at night and just doze there to be sure I

don't miss it, is that allowed?

I'd be very grateful for any kind of advice as this is all very last

minute and being done on a budget, but I'm really looking forward to

the whole trip. Used to be a backpack traveller in my youth so

refusing to panic.
