Guest guest
Hi all, Someone posted this on the GFCFKids list: --- I just called McCann's and the person I spoke to said they do rotate the crops in Ireland as well. He said their facility is dedicated to producing oats but there will be cross contam. issues from the fields. He told me they tested the oats and the highest number they noted for cross contam. was .0567. He said lots of celiacs use their oatmeal but said they might not react b/c they have a mild case of celiac disease. He told me to do what I feel is best for my kids and I decided it's best to wait and let them heal for now. ----- I'm not sure if .0567 is a significant number for people with gluten issues or not. I know that for autism the number is supposed to be zero.
