Guest guest
, 1) what pressure will the chambers go to? I'm assuming 4.2 psi--like oxyhealth? The new chamber will go to 1.5 ATA without any problem. It has been tested to 40 psi without a problem. This chamber was designed for commercial use and will be available for home use. 2) Are they one size only, and if so what size? There is only one size, which is larger than the largest Oxyhealth chamber. 3) Why do you expect verbal objections? I personally think portable home chambers are the way to go. Why should someone have all the disruption and expense of ongoing clinic treatments when 1.3 ata is clinically close (in my opinion) to 1.5 ata. My portable chamber is currently about 2 feet from my desk as I write. We are already receiving objections from those involved with other chamber companies. >The problem is expense. At least with the solace, its about 10k, even that is out of reach for many people esp. with chronic illness. This chamber is designed to sell for around $24,900, however the Beta edition will be made available at around $15000 to anyone registered to receive one by Jan. 15. Beta users must agree to participate in feedback to the company. This chamber is 10 times stronger than anything on the market now. Example: The Solace has stitched seams. The Beta has welded seams. This is the latest in technology and will revolutionize hbot as we know it today.

What restrictions are there on home treatment? > > 2) Are they one size only, and if so what size? > > There is only one size, which is larger than the largest Oxyhealth > chamber. Just curious, why did you make them larger than the Vitaeris? Do they have two passthroughs for two people to do oxygen at once? > > We are already receiving objections from those involved with other > chamber companies. Well, that's fine, but that is expected in a capitalist society. That really means nothing and should be expected with the territory of entering a business where someone else has pioneered. BTW, on Byron's list, you were not censored because of oxyhealth or anything relating to it. I really think you misinterpreted that. At the time you were against portable chambers--now that you're making them, you're for them... >the Beta > edition will be made available at around $15000 to anyone registered to > receive one by Jan. 15. That's a good price, how lon gwill you have a beta period?
Guest guest
Dear All, Wonderful news about the Book Trust. One of my best memories of when I was professional lead in Hull was being invited to meet the librarians there to discuss how we were going to lanch the book bags. This seemed like a reall contribution that HVs could and can make to families in a part of the country where educational attaninment continues to be very low. A new topic: some of you may be interested to know that City University is advertising to replace Rita Newland's post as Senior Lecturer and programme director for the specialist practice programmes and the return to HV practice programme. The post is advertised on jobs.ac.uk and on the City web site www.city.ac.uk, closing date 21st January. We are looking for someone with a PhD or who is soon to complete their PhD. Please can you let anyone you know who migh tbe interested in this post know and please ask then to contact me if they would like any further information about the post. Best wishes for 2011! Fri Dec 31, 2010 3:54 am (PST) Get well soon, Elaine! Sent a letter to the Guardian last week, following Lynsey Hanley's mention of Booktrust, but it did not appear in print.... not that I think Mr. Gove reads that paper. Glad that he is doing a swift U-Turn: there really are 12 days to Christmas!
