Guest guest
Hi, I was just wondering what the consensus is on how healthy it is to live exclusively off meat and vegetables. I know there are diets out there that claim this is ideal, but they don't seem to fit well with the Weston Price/Nourishing Traditions dietary practices. I am allergic to wheat, dairy and fish - I can't even take cod liver oil. I can't have raw milk, buttermilk, yoghurt, kefir, etc. I also have problems with plant based DHA supplements. Does anyone have advice for how I can make up for no fish or dairy products in my diet? I'm nursing a baby so it's especially important for me to get what I need. A bizarre twist is that when I remove wheat from my diet, I stop sleeping. Since I can't handle the insomnia, I still have whole wheat. I'm just now getting into the NT diet and haven't completely made the sprouted/soaked grains. I'm also trying to find the best diet for my autistic sons. I've looked into GFCF and SCD. But I'll save that for another post since I've gotten a bit off from the original topic of this e-mail.... Thanks,
