Guest guest Posted September 14, 2004 Report Share Posted September 14, 2004 Hi all, I've been successfully keifering milk for a couple years now, but I'd like to make keifer water and beer, and other drinks...I read on Dom's site (I think) that you can convert milk keifer grains into water keifer grains by keeping them in water for a period of time. Well, mine have been in water at room temp. for awhile now, and the mix smells AWFUL. I've been changing the water, and I even put some sucanant in there to feed the grains...any advice? am I killing my babies? -- If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention.
