Guest guest
well, this is in no way healthy but it's what my mom used to make -- she's from Argentina. It's called dulce de leche. Take your can and put it, unopened, in a pot of boiling water for four or five hours. You get this wonderful caramel that knocks people's socks off. In Argentina they make alfajores -- dulce de leche between two little crumbly cookies then sprinkled with powdered sugar. But this is really not the list for this kind of recipe Elaine >>>> MIL has given me a case of sweetened condensed milk. Can anyone give me >>>> any ideas of what I can > do with it? We used to use it for mayonnaise, cheesecakes and caramel sauce. I don't know if kefiring it would be any good. Cheers, Tas'.
