Guest guest
I've always heard that smoking tobacco decreases tissue oxygenation and assumed it was true. But nicotine is widely regulized to stimulate metabolism significantly, when consumed by smoking tobacco. This seems a contradiction. Since oxidation is the ultimate requirement of any metabolism, how could smoking tobacco simultaneously decrease tissue oxygenation and increase metabolism? If anyone can help point out where I might be going wrong, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Chris
