Now: 1. Mice that got only water and got the shot, got arthritis. 2. Mice that got water laced with live LGG or dead LGG, or milk, got some arthritis, but did better. 3. Mice that got yogurt, regular or LGG, got no arthritis or very little. So ... probiotics definitely help arthritis (at least in mice)! But yogurt works better than just the bacteria alone.
