Slow digestion with red meat

I just added red meat back into my diet for the first time in over 15

years. I have noticed that my digestion is quite slow for about a day

afterwards, despite taking HCL with my meal.

Has anyone experienced this? Does it pass? Any suggestions? I

always eat fermented foods with my meat and cook it either rare or

medium rare. I have also noticed some digestions issues with eating

cooked eggs, even if they are just soft-boiled.
