Guest guest
Hi ya'll. I HAVE the book Nourishing Traditions so thought I ought to see what youre all about. I am Dona. I've loved the Lord Jesus for longer than Ive loved my husband <grin>. Im married to Neil and 14th yr homeschool mom to B24, B15, G12, B10, B8.5 & G6 in Oklahoma. We have 15 acres in the foothills of the Ozarks (yes, the foothills ARE in Oklahoma ). We have a beagle mix dog named Miss Chiff, a pet quail, 16 cats (11 kittens this month - oops), 2 adult does and three little does (milking one doe to the tune of 3/4 gallon a day with which I do little other than make kefir smoothies for now). We just today hatched 9 chickens of our own (and 44 for a friend) and will hatch 22 guineas in another week...some for us and others to go to auction. I have milled my own wheat since 1999 (yes, Y2K...now that was fun!) The goats ate my ENTIRE garden this year so all efforts are on getting greenhouses up for winter and THE PASTURE PROPERLY FENCED. Cant think of much more at the moment but am looking forward to hearing your chat about the kitchen activities as you nourish traditions in your own homes. In Jesus, Dona in OK
