Guest guest
Dear all, I have been looking around the internet for some DVD's or on-line training that doesn't cost the earth. What are the recommendation's around here? I don't plan to do this as a career. It's more for my own personal interest and development so that I can perform an effective assessment on myself and know where on the head to place electrodes for various training. Is there such a thing as a book that has various conditions and it then shows you where on the head to place the electrodes to work on those conditions? I have already purchased the electrode placement video. Many thanks Rob
Guest guest
Tony, purchase the next one what, video? You talk about a level 2 course, where is this available from and can I do it now or would I have to enrol and start when more people sign up. How about level 1 course? I am a visual learner so I need to see things like a video to learn from as I am dyslexic and written stuff is just so hard for me to learn. I can do it it's just a lot harder. Oh and how much does it cost? Guest guest
Thanks for the reply Pete. Before I part with my hard earned cash, would you be so kind as to give me a few more details regarding the online course. Could you give me a brief summary of the types of things that are covered. Regarding the telephone consultation, I'm afraid that I would be unable to use that service. Guest guest
Quick feedback about the Level 2 course from TLC. I found that the material was both very informative and the speaker uses a lot of good analogies to explain difficult concepts. However as I am a visual learner the lack of pictures and videos means that I could only grasp about 20% of the lesson. Only one criticism that I would make is that there are no pictures of the eeg signals that are talked about on the lessons. For example, showing the phase relationships of brainwaves to explain coherence. I am a bit reluctant to purchasing the course for BioExplorer as I feel I would need lots of pictures and videos to learn it. Guest guest
Surprisingly following the powerpoint whilst listening to the audio has helped a great deal and I'm now understanding a lot more from the audio. I still find it a bit tricky knowing when to change the slide. Even more confusing is that there are 2 powerpoints to follow.
