Regarding the numbness i have been having this problem for a year or so and

never said anything untill i was in the hospital and having every major test

you can think of. My rheumy and the mayo docs concluded i have Reynards

Syndrom iam not for sure if this is how its spelled i really need to find

more about but i was told it goes along the the sjrogrens and the RA in alot

of people. OUr nerve endings just get used to the pain ie hands, feet, legs and

they just start going numb. they told me right now not to worry about it

because it was the leastof my problem and worrys right now.

Connie, I'm so sorry to hear that you have this condition, especially with

everything you have been through. Do you still have Stills over and above this

condition? Like you need anymore problems.

I have been searching the net for info on Reynard's Syndrome for you but I cant

find anything on it, I'm thinking it is mispelled but it doesnt matter how I

type it in nothing comes up. I will keep trying.

Hi all,

I think it is spelled Raynaud's Syndrome.

http://www.healthy.net/asp/templates/article.asp?PageType=article & ID=1520

Here is some info from the link: HealthWorld Online

Symptoms to look for are:

Fingers or toes turning pale white or blue, then red, in response to cold.

Tingling or numbness.

Pain during the white phase of discoloration.

Self-Care Tips

If wearing gloves and wool socks and staying indoors where it's warm is a

nuisance or doesn't help, try these other warm-up tips:

Don't smoke. It impairs circulation.

Avoid caffeine. It constricts blood vessels.

Avoid handling cold objects. Use ice tongs to pick up ice cubes, for

instance.

With fingers outstretched, swing your arms in large circles, like a baseball

pitcher warming up for a game. This may increase blood flow to the fingers.

(Skip this tip if you have bursitis or back problems).

Do not wear footwear that is tight-fitting.

Wiggle your toes. It may help keep them warm as a result of increased blood

flow.

Practice a relaxation technique, such as biofeedback
