Guest guest
From the quiet front. Matt has been doing so well - until now. Started last Sunday with a little temp and bad temperment. By Tuesday bad headache and stomach ache that cleared to allow the temp and sore throat to come busting through on the opening day of exams. Matt no longer stops - " this is my life and I have to go on with it sick or not seeing as I am feeling sick most days " (lovely) So Friday I took him to Peds for throat culture. Negative. Now he has sores on his tongue and cheek and probubly his throat and that is why it is sore. Also swollen glands. Have calls out to Immun and Peds but am wondering if any of you guys have delt with simuliar (I am thinking coxsackie virus) and if acyclovir is and option for these kids. Thanks thinking of all of you but very busy with chemistry 7 days a week. Helen
