It travels to my neck and radiates to my shoulder, and my throat starts to itch like crazy. It only affects the ear I am holding it to. I will actually have to end the call b/c it is so uncomfortable. When I was preg w/ DD I had the same experience with the sonograms (Now I know better about those, then I didn't). The area being scanned would tingle and burn to the point where it hurt. I told the tech several times, and they said I must have had sensitive skin due to my size??!! I know that is NOT waht I was experiencing. AM I CRAZY??? Has anyone BTDT, or know what I am experiencing?? Guest guest
This happens to me as well. Also with cordless phones. This has happened more so in the last 8 mos. Then ever before. I never had the situation with the ultrasound. My muscles were a contracting a bit and a little tingly but not painful and hot like me ear. I am sure this is what is causing the brain cancer. Guest guest
If the cell phone was analog, I know there would be a very good reason to avoid it's use. Analog used sound waves that have been known to cause health problems. I would highly recommend that you stop using it. Something else I found out a few years back....the reason it caught my attention is at the time I was living in Ohio inside the 10 mile barrier for Besse Nuclear power plant. The cooling tower was so close it looked like it was in my backyard. We had tons of high tension wires....the heavy duty ones and I worked inside the protected area of the plant for about four years. If you sleep with a radio/alarm clock/telephone or any other electrical device in your head board or within like 3 or 4 feet of your head, you are asking for problems. I can't remember all the details but the electrical waves created sleep disturbances, headaches.....etc... Also, never stand in front of a microwave while in operation....don't let your kids. Keep as far away from your computer monitor as possible and if you have an old one that is not energy star compliant....it's unsafe...replace it as soon as possible. Just something you might want to think about for you and your family. Sorry didn't mean to get carried away....but you can never be to careful with your health. Guest guest
You could also invest in a headset to attach to the cell phone, that way you can keep the entire phone away from your ear. >From: " " <queenearth@...> >Reply-Vaccinationsegroups ><Vaccinationsegroups> >Subject: Re: Am I crazy?? >Date: Mon, 2 Oct 2000 12:29:21 -0400 > >I don't think you're crazy, I think you should stop using that cell phone. >Not only because of your experience with tingling, etc. but anyone with a >radio scanner can monitor your calls, in and out, all day long. > > > > Am I crazy?? > > > >This is going to be a weird ques, but I knew I could ask you guys first. > >EVERY time I use my cell phone (2-3x a week for a few min at a time) My >ear > >is hurting me the whole time. like a tingling senation. I have stopped using the phone, and the funnt thing is a lot of family/friends I mention it to have the same thing happening. Does anyone think this is something yu are either sensitive to or you're not? How come some experience this and some don't? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Attached mama~ to family bedded, gently guided, natural foods, alternative medicine, non vaccinating, homeschooling, nursling nna 9/20/96 email~ attachedmama@... homepage~ (finally back up) http://hometown.aol.com/attachedmama/page1.html Attachment parenting forum~ http://www.delphi.com/n/main.asp?webtag=attachedmama " Our Loving Home is a NO SPANK ZONE!! Guest guest
Hi Jodi: Well I certainly hope you're not crazy!! How wonderful, I'd say it is possible you've seen change already, given Collin's PERFECT age to begin treatment, he's probably grown some already. YAY. He'll be a graduate with a round head in no time Keep us posted Debbie abby's mom DOCGrad MI > My son got his STARband on Tuesday, wore it for 1 hour, Wed for 2 on/1 off > all day (no night), Thurs most of the day, but no night, then Friday and > today for 23+ hours. Guest guest
Jodi, I think at 3 1/2 months old it is possible. An infants head is very malleable. So no, I don't think you're crazy! Collin will be done before you know it. > My son got his STARband on Tuesday, wore it for 1 hour, Wed for 2 on/1 off > all day (no night), Thurs most of the day, but no night, then Friday and > today for 23+ hours. Guest guest
Jodi, I'm sure you're not crazy Collin is so young I'm sure it's very possible for you to see changes already. That is such great news!! It's so exciting everyday that you take the band off everyday and see what changes are happening. & (STARband 8/26/02, Grad 11/05/02) > My son got his STARband on Tuesday, wore it for 1 hour, Wed for 2 on/1 off > all day (no night), Thurs most of the day, but no night, then Friday and > today for 23+ hours. Guest guest
Jodi, Give Collin's very young start I would say you are NOT crazy! That must really be encouraging. Hooray!! Guest guest
GeorgieI so empathise with you.I had the same thing about weight with my GP who went on about "calories in must not exceed calories out to avoid weight gain". Patronising twit, I've never been to see him since. In the ideal world yes, but we have Hashis and as you say it is a symptom not the cause. Glad you gave your GP a run for her money.Have a look on the chat forum for the hcg diet thread. Feeling as you do and lacking confidence is all part of it, but we've all been there and know how it feels.Hope this helps you - sometimes its necessary to let off steam !Take careSue
Guest guest
Thanks Sue I hate the way doctors tell you things like that, as if it's remotely helpful. It's my belief that anyone who's been overweight for any period of time knows more about diets and weightloss than any doctor! It does help, a lot, to share these things with other people who understand. Will check out the chat forum. Best wishes, Georgie > > Georgie > > I so empathise with you. > > I had the same thing about weight with my GP who went on about " calories in must > not exceed calories out to avoid weight gain " .
