Guest guest
Hi , I know it can be very disheartening to constantly hear of only the DOC band and STARband, but there are locally made helmets from orthotists that do work as well, in the right hands. I know you've already been in touch with Dr. Tristan- what about Dr. in Australia? It's probaby a 2-3 hour flight, but just something to consider if things are not panning out in NZ. We have the angel flight service in the states, a free service, and I'm sure Beck could tell you all about it since she used it for each fitting- maybe they offer something like it in your country for children with medical needs? Good luck and continue to reposition, it will help in the interim of you finding alternative treatment. Keep working diligently on those stretches and you'll find that the plagio is getting easier to handle as your child has more physical ability to get off that one side. Please keep us posted on how its going for your little one. ' Mom
