Guest guest
Hi, Edith and all! I joined your list this morning, after reading about it the other night. I've been posting to the larger group about the recent problems I've had with my BPD sister, but in reading the stories of the others on that list I am starting to see a common pattern of behavior, and I now suspect that my dad may have suffered with BPD as well. A lot of it seems to fit, but I've never really examined my life, and his impact on it, from the perspective of BPD and am still learning a lot about it; it was only a few weeks ago that someone suggested I should look intp BPD as a possible explanation for what has been going on with my sister. I joined this list in the hope of learning more, and to try to figure out if this shoe fits for dad as well as for sis. For the record (and per your earlier post which I read on the web site), my dad passed away in 1997; he would be 77 this year were he still alive. I'm female, 41 years old; my BPD sister is 45. Looking forward to everyone's input here. Finding these groups recently has really been a godsend Hugs, In a message dated 11/13/2000 3:47:30 PM Eastern Standard Time, WonderrKid@... writes: > We have an assortment of BPD parents (ie, mother, father, mother and father) > > and one sibliing of a BPD represented in this group.
