I think it has to do with a limit on the number of virtual channels that can be used. The assessment collects a lot of data that isn't directly trained. The training screens use a lot of other channels. I haven't looked into it but it may be possible to construct a training screen within the assessment suite.

Does anyone know why TLC uses a different channel set

for it's assessment screens versus the training screens?I am interested in using the coherence channel that is part of the channel set for assessments but not part of the channel set for training. I hesitate to mix the two without knowing why they aren't the same. I've sent a question off to Francios about it but haven't heard back from him.-Nita

I hadn't thought of that. Yes, I figure I can make a screen using the assessment Channel. But the thought just made me wonder why... I made that very suggestion to Francois, to make a screen with that channel set. Does anyone know where Francois is? Maybe doing training? He seems to be the most knowledgable about the TT system and the TLC screens/channel sets together.
