Yes, i did see this, and yes, you are correct. It was craniosynostosis

surgery. The front fontinel was fused in utero.

Hi all:

Kind of OT here, but I only caught bits & pieces of tonite's 9:00 pm

Maternity Ward on TLC. It looked to me as though Baby Poncho was

having craniosynostosis surgery, but I never heard for sure. His

skull was severely misshapen at birth so they operated on him

immediately. He was born to a homeless mom.

I watched what I could handle of the actual surgery, wow, how sad.

They showed a lot of the surgery.

The post-op clips of him reminded me of Amy's son Max post cranio

surgery.

Wondering if anyone else saw this?

Thank you! I was almost positive it was cranio, but I missed his

birth and only saw him for a quick minute before his surgery, his

poor little skull was severely misshapen :( They said he'd need

additional surgeries in the years to come as well, which is common

with cranio patients as well. I hope he is doing well :( Poor

little fella :'(.

Thanks for letting me know!

I watched it! It was amazing! They did the surgery at 1 week old.

I felt so bad for the mother, and so happy all at the same time. It

was very humbling, in my opinion.

Dustie, mom to , casted for the 3rd time tomorrow.

I went to the TLC website to see when they would show it again because I was intrested in seeing it. Here it is for those of you that are intrested as well. I do not know if the viewing times would be the same for you.
