Hi!

I live in the OKC area and we have the $700 helmet you referred to in your

posting. My daughter is 9 months and just began her helmet therapy last

Thursday. Actually the orthotist who makes the helmet is associated with the

University Health Sciences Center and he is GREAT!! (My daughter responds

very well to him) Please feel free to email me personally if you want talk

more about the experience. There is at least one other person in this egroup

who also has the helmet made here in OKC. So far I have been pleased with the

treatment and the medical attention we've been given. My insurance company

does not want to pay, but we are going through appeals. Unfortunately my

neurosurgeon specifically mentioned Tricare as one company that does not pay.

There are many good links here to help you prepare an appeal to your

insurance company!!
