Guest guest
Dear Group: I have a project for you all......... One of our members has gotten together with a leading orthotics manufacturer, and a highly respected neurosurgeon, to try to put a package together about Positional Plagiocephaly. The package will contain any available research about plagio., a statement from the doctor, and with your help, a bundle of parent's testimony. The package will then be distributed to ANYONE who may be able to spread the word, including family physicians, public health offices, Oprah Winfrey, women's publications, parenting magazines, etc. If you are interested in helping out, please go to the " files " section at the Plagio. eGroups community, where I have set up a folder titled " Parent's Stories " . Click on the folder, and after it opens, click on " create text file " . Once you're in, tell us your story! Your stories will not remain in the file, so please do not be alarmed once they are removed. They will be printed off as they are received. *The only thing I need to ask is that you keep your story " on a positive note " . I know that this experience hasn't been POSITIVE for anyone, but we need to tell our stories with a sense of calm. I'm not asking you to lie, and say that everything went smoothly. Be truthful, and tell it like it is, but calmly. We don't want to come off like a group of irrational, hysterical, worry wart Mommy's! ) Make sense? Please try to keep your stories " brief " , without leaving out all of those important details. Thanx in advance to all who participate. You may leave your stories signed " anonymous " , but I think we would be more effective if we signed with a name, and state (province/country, if applicable).
