I have the silver cup electrodes. I looked up in old messages to find

out how people keep them clean. A few people said they put them in

hot water. Do you have to be careful not to get the wire in the water?

How careful do I have to be.

Thanks

Make sure the water is very hot but not boiling, then just dip the head in and swish them up and down a couple times. The paste should melt off almost immedately and leave them perfectly clean. There's no way to avoid getting the wires into the water, and you don't have to worry about that. I even know folks who leave the electrodes in the water for a period of time, though I don't do that.
