Guest guest
Heidi, We send Hannah to CAMP CAMP every summer. CAMP is for Childrens Association for Maximum Potential. They have year round programs and camp through the summer (thus, CAMP camp). It is held in Comfort, Texas which is about 60 miles north of San . It is a beautiful place and she loves it. There are multiple sessions held each summer, divided by disability so that the appropriate staff is in place. For instance, a week primarily for autistic children where the staff is especially trained. The counselor to child ratio is generally 1:1. They ride horse, do archery, canoeing, swimming, etc. Hannah thrives there. I'll send the phone number to request a brochure/application later. It's not cheap but there is a sliding scale if you qualify.
