Guest guest
Hello everyone. My 5 yr. old autistic daughter has had 5 episodes of what I can only classify as leg pain in the past 5 months. Her last episode took place early this morning lasting about 25 minutes. These episodes only happen during sleep. She wakes and is crying in pain. They don`t appear to be " charlie horses " and she doesn`t seem to be affected as far as soreness and such. Her calcium intake is fine and she is on a GFCF diet. I was wondering if anyone else has had children who experience such pain. My little one always returns to sleep after the pain. I`ve also noticed that it doesn`t appear to be the " pins and needles sensation " from an extremity " falling asleep " . As far as we know, she doesn`t have any other medical condition that would cause this. If anyone can help, I`d be most appreciative! Thanks in advance.
