Guest guest
Hi... I guess that I can safely say that I agree, Ill be voting for Mr Bush this year...... Sometimes there are more important things than good intentions... Well tra la la for MR clinton and his accomplishements...... I am a little hurt that he declined my invitation to explain to my daughters why he was able to lie and not get introuble.... and why he was able to have an affair and not get in trouble and why he was able to hurt others and not get in trouble.... They just wanted to know why the rules were different for them than for him.... I had the cookies and tea all ready for him. Our fearless leader didn't show. God bless... Shay Ifyou love something, set it free.. If it comes back to you it is yours However.... if it sits on your couch, eats your food, messes up your stuff, and has control of the remote.... You either married it or gave brith to it.. compliments of my freind cathy..... who has definitely a better grip on things than I do. Re: Official W. Guest guest
Since we are on the subject...... Under Clinton and Gore The economy has been doing great! The Federal Deficit is lower There is more to be done, definitely. Under Reagan and Bush, Bush and Quayle The economy was in a recession(Thanks to the no. 1 Republican tool: lowering taxes) The Federal Deficit was the biggest ever. Yes, Soviet Union is gone, but this country was at the brink of bankruptcy Japan and Germany were heading for the no.1 and no.2 spot on the economic scale..who is on top today, economically? USA W Bush After watching the debate last night, what I saw: On each subject, his answer was something along the line of: I trust people and I will let the local, state governments decide- The President sets a vision for the country. The Federal government works with the State level, but we can not leave everything to the states This is the United States, not Europe: more than a dozen countries that were on their own, until they became a union - sounds like United States of Europe The Republican Party believes in small and hands off government, for business For individuals and families, they want to legislate what we watch on tv and what we do in our 'private' lives: I do not need that, that is my business. The State of Texas has the most executions In the State of Texas concealed weapons are allowed Houston, Texas has the most days of Smog Alerts The State of Texas is fighting the American with Disabilities Act Regarding the environment: see what the Sierra club and Greenpeace have to say. Sorry for the long winded reply, but it is important to share our thoughts. Although not related to Autism in the short term, where the country is heading in terms of education, the ADA, Health Insurance and the environment, the elections will affect our children's future: how society treats families and individuals with disabilities. Guest guest
We had Bush once and see how much better off you are now then you were then. Stop and think about it a moment. Be honest. I dont think you are born Republican or Democrat. But it seems it is handed down generation to generation.,regardless of what each man stands for, if family has been Republican or Democrat then I am too. Nothing to do with Autism but had to put my 2 cents worth in.

Guest guest
Shay I have to agree. This kind of modeling can't be good, as well as the exaggerations (numberless) that Gore spouts off. Actually I wish I can combine the three candidates. (DON'T TRASH ME ON THIS ONE). I like the fact that GORE cares about the environment, how he wants to clean up our water (which impacts our kids), and how he wants to save every living creature, BUT, and a REAL BUT, EXCEPT REAL BABIES. Then I like Bush becuase he thinks or gives us credit that we can think for ourselves, BUT, doesn't seem to know how to administer that? Then I like, NADER, becuase he will unleash the power of corporations and really get those vaccine manufacturers to FESS UP. Can't we make a person out of all three? As you can see I am undecided, leaning towards Bush, but really liking Nader, and not wanting to throw my vote away. I have to admit though, Gore's 10,000 tax credit for kids going to colleges is appealing too since I am sending my kid to college next year....argh argh. Kathy Re: Official W.
