No, I'm talking

about private insurance. I'm not on Medicare. Part D has

nothing to do with my

insurance.

Be grateful. But the truth is that formularies are utterly, completely

arbitrary and, often, cruel. Companies can charge what they want, include

what they wish, deny what they want. This is true of Part D as well as

private insurance and each state's ADAP program.

Health has absolutely NOTHING to do with it. Your power as an individual

is almost non-existent. If you need a drug that is not covered

under your plan's formulary, you'll just have to pay for it. And if you

can't afford it and need it to live, you will die.

That's the United States lacking a single payer healthcare system. It is

all about profit.

And that's life for most people on the planet. No money? You just suffer

and die. And that's PEPFAR too.
