Hi,I would like to know if anyone has tried Oxygen Therapy at the Advance Centre

and their experience with the Scotson Technique. My son is 4 years old and just

been diagnose ASD. We have been doing Biomed for 6 months with great results. I

would appreciate if anyone could give me some information. Thank you.

Hi there

We have done this for a long, long time, because we don't do the full two hour

protocol. We do 45 minutes. S says this is fine, as long as we are

consistent.

J had these veins showing through his stomach which said was poor

respiration/oxygenation, and about two weeks into protocol they went away, which

surprised me. It could have been something else I suppose, but I always thought

it was due to Scotson.

We had an ANS test at breakspear recently and it came up really well in terms of

oxygen.

The veins came back when we stopped for a bit of a break, we started it, then

they went away again. So I do think it is doing something but it takes a long

long time.

As for HBOT, I am just longing to do this, so many health benefits, but the

problem is my research (anecdotal) is saying that with some kids who have OCD

their OCD gets worse. I looked into why that might be, my Son had elevated

strep titres, and Strep is aerobic bacteria like a lot of bacteria (thrives on

oxygen). So would I be giving it a gourmet meal? Also at the NAA conference,

Anju Usman and the other DAN Docs said they didn't know when I asked the

question. They were a bit stumped to be honest, Anju said she would make the

child was reasonably free of bacteria before going in HBOT.

I just wonder if the oxygen feeds the strep if its really overgrown, or the

immmune system overpowers itm as it is boosted.

Professor at University of Edinburgh says he would not do HBOT with a child with

bacteria.

Myself I think the only way around it is to try a couple of sessions and see

what happens. Heart in mouth though whilst doing it :(
