Guest guest
Riley has been in the DOC Band for about a month now. I have seen great improvement in the back of her head but not so much on her forehead. It's freaking me out a little bit. Hopefully in time that will realign itself. I am not one of those " wait and see " people. I think that's probably the hardest part of this. Guest guest
Becky and Sue, 's facial assymetry was the first thing to start correcting. THe back of his head was more difficult...but even the second band helped his forehead more, but did the most for the back flat spot. I think each little head is different and grows its unique way... Some infants have prominent forheads, others don't - didn't, so maybe that was why it corrected first(?). I do understand your anxiousness, though. I hope this helps in some way. Guest guest
's been in her DOC band since Oct. 13. I'm with you - patience (i.e. wait and see) is not really my strong point, unless I know for sure something will happen. The two messages we've gotten in response to my post said the facial asymmetry improved first, and I just haven't seen that with . The back of her head has rounded out beautifully, and her flat spots are rounding out, but most of the facial asymmetry is still there. The tech at CT said she'd check 's forehead at her next adjustment (Thursday of NEXT week - we're going every 10 days now that 's so close to 7 mos.), so I'll be interested to see what she has to say then. Guest guest
Sue, Becky, Ya know, the same is happening with Josh. He has had his band for about a month. Great improvement in the back of his head. But everything else seems to be the same..........HHHHMMMMM Jill --- Becky Keck <becky@...> wrote: > 's been in her DOC band since Oct. 13. Guest guest
Same thing for us. The back of 's head looks really good, but we still have some facial assymetry. It has gotten a little better. Our orthotist has been pleased with the progress and thinks we will continue to see improvement.
