Sigh. Ok let's do it your way, by the numbers. Literally!

1. If you consider the " hand of god " the insurance company/underwriter/review

board, here it is. it is a table, and it is NOT BMI but it does have a basis

from the BMI - it is merely your height and your weight. The table says I may

not weigh more than 185 lbs at 5'9 " height. It is not negotiable. Unless I can

find a way to shoot up at age 48 to say, 6'3 " ? lol....

2. The cost of providing them a copy of my medical records and a doctor's

letter, this is going to cost me at least " $200 " per my current doctor (read

this to mean " he doesn't want to bother/does not care to do it " ). He also is on

vacation and won't be around to perform this " good deed " for at least two

weeks....and the insurance company wants it from my doctor. Please also

recognize the underwriter LITERALLY told me " this has no chance of being

overturned by a medical review even if you choose to do this " . She knew she was

being recorded too...fyi. Getting a new doctor will take more time and yes,

more money - and then whatever fee they desire for this service. All for what I

was specifically told would do no good....it's NOT my health they're hitting me

for!

3. See above.

4. HUH? it has nothing to do with me as an individual - they don't CARE about

me as a person. See 2 above - the underwriter has actually stated FOR THE

RECORD that my blood work, my athletic build, my athletic performance at this

weight, NOTHING would sway them - and that it is SOLELY my bodyweight that gets

me this premium! That the ONLY thing that reduces this is if i suddenly weigh

185.

Short of inadvertently removing a leg, I cannot see how I'd lose this weight for

them. Or as I said before, a coma...sigh. Cardio would make me insane ANd give

me bigger legs lol. (Done that before, lost zero weight....). I'd have to stop

exercising. Literally. Lie down, do nothing, eat very little.....for an untold

period of time. Oh sure, my life and my sanity would go....but the insurance

company would cut my premium!

We've never met (surprising considering you are in Denver area!) or some of your

criteria - my " winsome attitude " and other features you'd recognize as already

present. Insurance companies do not care about people. They care about money -

and ironically theyhave me against a nice big wall.....they will collect a good

deal of it from me, and my health will prevent me mostly from being a user of

their services. It's a win-win for them.

As for your comment about using anabolic steroids to achieve this goal....No.

Nothing is sufficient inducement for me to break my word as an athlete.

Now it's time to keep training and basically try to find a way to suck it up and

survive as a taxpayer and athlete until I'm old enough to get medicare or

something....or as I said, defect to my cousins in Sweden? I hear Canada needs

more good PL....!

hi DD,

So I'm guessing the next step is finding out exactly;

1. what criteria the right hand of god uses to control your life,

2. what the cost is,

3. if there is any other possibility of appeal,(not likely)

4. if exceptional blood characteristics and a winsome attitude would

sway said inquisitioners?
