Guest guest
If you want something that works, I'd suggest Propecia/finsteramide. To lower costs, buy the form for prostate disease, Proscar, and split the pills. If you inhibit the enzyme that converts testosterone into DHT, be it by saw palmetto or whatever, you'll have the same side effects. Does anyone know of any topical DHT inhibitors that really work? I tried topical spironolactone, but it ended up going systemic, lowering my testosterone & increasing estradiol. It also caused bad muscle cramping in me. I've read that azelaic acid can block DHT on the hair follicles, but I'm not sure that there is any solid research behind it. I would like to avoid drugs such as finasteride & dutasteride at any cost due to their side effects. If anyone can provide me with any information that might help, I'd appreciate it. I'd also like to know if saw palmetto can lower DHT on the scalp as well as in the prostate?
