Guest guest
is 13, non-verbal. - we are home educating - combination of son-rise, Rapid Prompting, Facilitated communication. I dont know how much of what he said below is influenced by my views - but I have always told people that I believe his autism was triggered by a combination of factors - repeated ear infections/antibiotics, possible genetics, MMR etc. We have been looking at Biology - immunity and I asked if he wanted to answer some questions by pointing to choices (using RPM)or typing - he pointed to keyboard 28.2 What can you remember from the other day when we talked about vaccines/immunity? C;vaccinations work by creating abbam.antibodies.(how are the antibodies created?) you are given small amount of pathogen.(yes that's right - so you have a mini dose of the disease etc.) What do you think about the MMR vaccine? C;it is dangerous as too many viruses in one injection. (you had the MMR when you were about 14 months – do you think it affected you in any way) C;the reason for my autism isthat inmyubisation.(explained that homeopath we are seeing is working on detoxing the various immunisations including MMR so maybe will help him) (Do you think you would have autism if you had not had MMR –yes/no pointed to yes- ok tell me more)radical selection.(not sure what you mean by that can you tell me more)my brain is on fire like a train engine smoking. Itnever stops thinking about thoughts and programs.(did you mean tv progs-selected yes) We came downstairs – i was reading thro this and trying to remember the exact questions i had asked –also aware that when offered yes/no he has often been choosing yes, so went and asked him – just to clarify will you tell me if you had not had the MMR do you think you would be autistic?(did not suggest yes/no)C:i do not think i would be autistic.
