Congratulations.  Don't know a lot of people who have 32 years in.  I didn't

make it.  I had 25 and now 20 with the 2nd one.  My daughter has 27 in and my

son is a few years below her.

It is quite an accomplishment and it seems fewer and fewer reach it.  Hope

you had a great day yesterday.  Did you manage to get out and see the Super

Moon?\  It was a romantic moon!

Subject: Sprouting brown rice question!!

Hi all. Happy Cinqo de Mayo (which also happens to be Alan and my 32nd wedding

anniversary today. Went to Japanese for dinner. Very nice.

So here's my brown rice question. I've never sprouted any kind of rice. I have

brown rice in the house (which I put in Alan's soup). I just went on youtube,

watched some videos, etc. but nowhere does it say (and I've looked) if eating

sprouted brown rice is okay if one is diabetic.

I know that it digests slower than white rice. But I don't eat rice of any kind.

I wouldn't know what to do with sprouted brown rice. So I just need to know if

1. One eats if raw after sprouting?? 2. Can you sprout it, saute it with garlic

and onions and have it as a sprouted side dish (without cooking it), 3. Is it

low glycemic.

Thanks very much to anyone who knows.

Melody
