I have not heard of any Dr. running any blood test before prescribing Antidepressant. If these test are easily done, then why not. Are you saying blood levels are different than brain levels? If that is the case, then why even do the test? Is there any benefits to know my Serotonin level in my blood and have no clue as what it is in my brain? -Steve

Yes, its possible to get tested for these. But of course, only in a

blood level, not brain levels...
