Guest guest
I totally agree with you Kathy. The girl who is with me now knows her stuff. She checked my posture (back, legs and even my feet!) She made me a killer program with exercice for my posture but they all work my biceps, abs, legs, etc. True,, hard to find a good PT that will meet ur needs, health wise and exercice wise... you have to tell the PT what u want to achieve, ur goals, and I disagree if the PT puts u on a diet... DIETS DONT WORK.. its a matter of eating healthy and exercising on a regular basis. You do need to develop a sense of confidence in that person and if u dont feel comfortable.. as u so put it... HEAD FOR THE DOOR.. and get someone else. I'd end this with,go with ur gut feeling about your PT if u get one. I mean if u dont feel like she/he's doing a good job then they probably aren't..... Lucie who loves the program Guylaine did for her... I think finding a personal trainer is like finding a good dentist or Doctor, there are good ones and there are quacks..Any personal trainer who #1 puts me on a diet that is insane, I " m out the door..I saw a show once about the limited experience that is required to hang a sign and say " I'm a fitness expert " ..I'm not sure what a PT requires as far as training..All I can say is what someone else already said..check it out and if you don't feel 1 00%comfortable..Head for the door...Besides, never forget, you are your own personal trainer as well....I do hear ya however, at some point if I decide to getmore involved in weight training, I would like some recommendations froma PT cuz I have no idea where to start..so anyways, I'm rambling ....
