He explained that the " eyes and ears " were the 2 biggest blockades in front of my goals (anyone's goals, really). Meaning, the eyes see the #s on the scale (I don't use one, though) and they see the inches coming off (or not). The ears listen to the negative talk coming out of our mouths or in our heads. I do have a critical eye about my body and can beat myself up internally. He read this off of me---I wasn't saying anything about how I felt about my body or fitness or anything. He just knew (strike up the Twilight Zone music . I have gotten better in this area this past year, but definitely have farther to go down my path. He also gave me the switch/energy analogy ( shared that all ready-it's really great). He was very hard on me, probably like he was with . But I kept telling myself that this was good for me and that what he was saying was right on, so " buck up " . was a great support too-she was always there with a joke or a smile---which really helped. Anyways, if I could keep in my sock drawer and take him out a few times a week to kick my butt (both physically and mentally), then I would. But I don't think he'd let me. Oh! While we were doing the hanging abs, for some reason I said (I forget why) that I liked doing the tapes better because I got to yell at him on the TV screen. He told me I better not yell at him there or he'd get mad. ~Kat Help Fight Breast Cancer
