Guest guest Posted November 15, 2002 Report Share Posted November 15, 2002 Have any of you seen this article? Last summer I had a sputum culture done and had this bacteria kicking around. Dr. put me on antibiotic that specifically targets it and cleared it up. What I found interesting is the possible connection to the bronchoscope use. I had a bronchoscopy done about 7 years ago and of course had to sign off on all kinds of things which scared the heck out of me. (not saying or thinking that is where I picked up the bacteria.) At that time I was given an all clear. About 4 years back had a bad bout with pneumonia after I had a pneumonia shot just didn't get shot for the right brand (hehehe).
