Hi Chriss,

I am presenting at this year's conference, (Sunday

afternoon, " Are you ready for private practice? " ), and

am very excited about it. I did notice that there

seems to be a bit of overlap in the themes of the

presentations. There are two on starting private

practice, and two on marketing oneself. I was

wondering whether it would be useful to perhaps fine

tune the content of the workshops so that they are

more specific and less similar to each other. I would

be happy to do this for my workshop. For example, I

could speak more specifically about the issues facing

a beginning private practictioner, as opposed to

someone like Bonnie who's been doing it for 20 years,

who may have some different wisdom to share from her

experience. If that were the case, obviously it would

make sense to adjust the titles and descriptions of

the workshops accordingly. I am far from having a

finished product at this point so would be more than

happy to incorporate any changes we came up with, and

I would assume the other presenters would be too.

I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts on this. My

colleague (Drena Fagen, who is presenting too,) and I

were discussing this and it felt important enough to

us to want to bring it up to you.

Sincerely,

Nadia Jenefsky, ATR-BC, LCAT

Chriss-

I like what you wrote to Nadia. It is exactly on track.
