Guest guest
, Thanks for your input on my choices I could make. It's good to hear from someone on the other side of things. Did you stay in your marriage? On this response, I'm not sure what Daily Planner Pads are, but at school we have a folder that has been laminated. We print off cards that say the time and what to do. You put velcro on the back of each laminated card and you have a big spot that says NOW with a piece of the other side of velcro below it. There is a pocket we attach to the front that says finished. Down in a column, we put in order the schedule for the day. This may be totally not what you are thinking about, but it works for some. There are even some that use this system in college so they have their set study time and even eating time. they put in breaks for about 15 min. here and there, but they like it. (Front) ______________________________________________ NOW 9:15 dr appt. Finished _______________________________________________ ______________________________________________ (inside) 8:00 wake up, get dressed 8:30 eat breakfast, brush teeth 8:45 leave for dr 9:15 dr appt 12:00 eat lunch 12:30 wash laundry 12:45 wash dished 1:00 dry laundry 1:30 fold laundry 2:00 take break 2:30 eat snack etc......_______________________________________________ This may not even be what you're looking for, but you can personalize it any way you want to. You can even have blank cards and write on each card your schedule for the next day, especially if it's not the norm......maybe this helps....it's not that expensive to do either Kandy Needing advice please... I am thinking of going through Daily Planner Pads and buy myself anorganizing system. I know the cost may be more than what I couldafford. However, it's something that will pay off in bigger dividendsand help to improve my life.Does anyone own this type of time management system and what are yourthoughts on it?Thanks, Never miss a thing. Guest guest
I'm having a bad night and can't think of what I want do with all of this right now. I am wanting to get back to sleep. I have been crying a lot this evening because of many things. I thought so far as feeling I was better off not having been diagnosed before September last year than I am now. I felt like I had something to hide behind, and tonight I feel like I have no one to even hug. I felt like just wanting to withdraw from everyone. After doing so well on my journey so far, tonight feels like a major setback to me. I thought how proud I was to have graduated from college and graduate school and now here I am much less off than I was back then...Grrrr.. I want to throw imaginary punches in the air and such. Sorry, Kandy and everyone else. I'll be better in the morning, honest. It's time for me to refocus and keep doing the things I have done on my journey so far. Going back to sleep, > > , > Thanks for your input on my choices I could make. It's good to hear from someone on the other side of things. Guest guest
.. I just write everything down on a main calendar by my phone and keep a notebook handy at all times to recorde things. OK maybe a couple of them. Then I don't stress about forgetting something and I make myself always check to see if I am on track. A planning system is only as good as the operators efforts to keep it current. Good Luck.. jzkI am thinking of going through Daily Planner Pads and buy myself anorganizing system. Guest guest
Janet.... Tomorrow being today turned out to be a completely different day. More like the I've always known.. upbeat, friendly, positive attitude and such. Unfortunately, even the mentally toughest of people like me will have a night like last night. I am thinking of giving myself a Valentine's Day present because I am learning to love myself. Gordon Lightfoot is performing here in Chattanooga on the evening of February 13th. I grew up as a child, listening to " Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald " , " Sundown " , and so many more songs. I've always wanted to go to a Lightfoot concert. I'll bypass ordering a planner online and may go to the concert instead > > > > > > , > > > Thanks for your input on my choices I could make. Guest guest
Just went online for an opportunity to win a free ticket and backstage pass. I hope to have an opportunity to meet Mr. Lightfoot and thank him for the wonderful music he has created over time. Hope to hear from the radio station. > > > > > > > > , > > > > Thanks for your input on my choices I could make. It's good to > > > hear from someone on the other side of things. Guest guest
, I hope I didn't trigger anything...I'm good at that sometimes....it just happens unintentionally. You really do make a difference on this sight because of your outlook on things. I think it's great to have different perspectives. I'm hoping to find a perspective of my own to piece things together better for myself....I feel for you. Cry, laugh, scream in a pillow...whatever can help get the emotion out. I just feel better once it's all out. Thursday night I was venting and hope I didn't offend anyone. I'm just trying to think of different approaches and such and it get's discouraging until I hear people like you, who are an inspiration to us. Your willingness to open yourself up and share your story is very admirable. Not many men, AS or not would be willing to share themselves and their thoughts. Thanks for doing that! Guest guest
Kandy.... You didn't trigger anything. Just happened to be while I was reading you post that I felt a bunch of negative emotions coming onto me. I tried to fight it as much as I could, but I couldn't handle what was going on in my mind. It's a mind game that goes on within me. Not your fault at all. I keep reminding myself that I am liking and loving myself more and more. Guess it's a situation in life, where people try to make the most of it. Also, this shows I am very human. I cried, threw a few imaginary punches, and went back to sleep. My ADHD part of the mind helps me to go in a positive direction, even when things are getting bad. Thank you for those words about inspiring others. I will use this time to get my financial house in order. I gave myself permission not to go to church services tomorrow morning. I will go next weekend. I wrote a checklist of things I want to accomplish this weekend with regard to working on finances, setting short/long term goals, and cleaning/straightening my apartment. It'll take this whole weekend (minus a few hours of going in to work this morning) to accomplish all of this. I want to have a very workable plan with finances and goals by the time I to go sleep on Sunday evening. In reality, my undergraduate degree is in the area of financial planning. I was someone who was very good at looking at a fictitious financial situation and figure out what needed to be done. I knew if I didn't stay in the field of financial services that I needed to have a personal financial base of which I could help myself. Now, I find that I don't have time to keep up with the NYSE, NASDAQ, the overseas markets and such. However, I don't have the money to go to a NAPFA advisor (fee-only based). Fortunately, two NAPFA folks e- mailed back and told me they would be willing to take me on " pro bono " (meaning for free, literally). So, now, I can begin working to get my financial life in the direction it needs to be. Need to get going to work... have fun everyone, > > > > > > , > > > Thanks for your input on my choices I could make. It's good to > > hear from someone on the other side of things.
