Greetings:

I have been offline for about a week. I reinstalled Windows and knocked out my network drivers. lol I finally put it in the shop the other day. It is a very old computer. lol I was able to find the drivers online on another computer but was unable to install. They called me today as I told them, it might be time for another computer. lol They basically said we found the drivers, defragged and it knocked the drivers out again as the hard drive is getting ready to go. PLUS you are missing other drivers. lol They did not charge me but fixed a lot of problems and somehow beamed me up without knowing it. lol I have a wireless connection. Actually, it is working really well but I will be buying another one with my tax refund. It is time and I will keep this for a back up. Actually, they were very good and did a lot of things and charged me zero. That is the problem with technology, techs have to be able to reproduce the problem and they did knowing technology is unstable and it corrected itself when I got it home. lol It is an unstable system and old. BUT, I am happy its neurons reconnected and all is well for the moment.

Everything is activated and working good but for how long?????? That is the risk. It should be OK for at least a week or 2 till I get another system. All the web sites are backed up on my external drive so I am OK. I feel like a dinosaur as I just love this computer. lol The company I took it to just got some new systems in and their price is comparable for what I am looking for. I had to laugh as the tech said, I can sell you this used system for 250.00 with a 3 day guarantee from us? lol I already have one of those? lol I'll trade you? lol NO, it is time for a brand new system with a MFG warranty. It was time years ago, It has stunned my family that I don't have a state of the art system but I got over that years ago. lol The tech and I were laughing today when we were talking about how much we paid for our first computer? lol In those days and I am dating myself it was loaded with FREE Microsoft software. Remember those days? They are gone forever. lol Thank God Microsoft dumps their data base every X amount of months or I would be screwed with the software I have invested in. lol
