I normally get very painful lumps on my shin area, which can last for weeks or months. On 2 ocassions these lumps have come to a head and burst. On one ocassion I developed severe cellulitis in my lower leg, recently again I had severe skin eruption which had to be treated with antibiotics 6. List any other health conditions. I also suffer from a skin condition known as hidradenitis superativa , PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), high blood pressure and SAPHO syndrome (a rare form of arthritis affecting skin and joints)!! 7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their effectiveness: I have never been given any medications for my EN, I believe the medication for my arthritis probably helps with it. Of course on the rare ocassions my EN becomes infected, I am put on various antibiotics 8. When did you first get erythema nodosum or PG? About 15 or so years ago, but was only diagnosed in 2006 9. Thanks for accepting me in your group. I have been slowly reading

messages and its amazing what I have found out in so little time.

Thanks for the info about the metformin re the PCOS. Am off to doctor

with that info. I had heard about metformin and PCOS, but never with

EN. Its interesting how very little my doctor knows, its almost as if I

go to her with the information.LOL. Take care
