Tina: That is very interesting about the 8 hours. I have not been

following that kind of a schedule. In fact, my schedule is VERY

irregular, and that might be causing the problem. I take 300mg,

twice a day. I had been taking it with my breakfast (around 11:00 am-

-it's a long story) and at night before bed.

I started with one dose, and it made me so giddy and energetic that I

was really suspicious, and stopped for a while. The doctor told me

to take it easy, and stay on the low dose until the symptoms

subsided, which I did. Then I went to two a day.

Then I noticed that I was having problem sleeping at night. Now, it

may have had something to do with the fact that my husband is going

through bladder cancer treatment (removal, and chemo), but I wanted

to see if I could change the schedule, so I've been trying to take

the first tab earlier, and the second tab earlier. It might have

made a small difference in the sleep problem, but the cough is still

bothering me.

Now, after reading your letter, I will try very hard to follow the 8

hour schedule. I'm supposed to up the dosage again after I get over

the side-effects, which isn't happening yet, but they're getting

better.

Thanks so much for your information. We'll keep in touch, and see if

this is going to make a difference for me. You sound as if you've

gotten some important relief!
