Dear My doctor has recently done the same thing. I try 1 for 1 day for a week and 2 for 2 weeks. If no serious side effect occurred, a full dosage of 3 times a day be recommended as there is a little flow in my toes. I will inform the group the results of taking this medicine. Calvin Chan »¡¡G Hi everyone: I went to my dermatologist yesterday and he seems to think that the last bout of ENM has

finally subsided...however the discolouration of the affected area is still causing some pain from tenderness and swelling. Dr. W gave me a prescription for Pentoxifylline - which is a blood flow enhancer used to improve blood circulation. He seems to think that the blood may be having trouble difficulty passing through my ENM 'scars' and believes that this will help with the tenderness. There are some sideeffects to it - such a nauseau, stomache upset and headaches .. so he told me to take 1 a day until used to it and then increase to 2 a day and then a max of 3 a day.... seems confident that this would help with the blood flow. I asked about exercise and he says until the pain goes away - don't worry about it ... "I want you to exercise and move around when you can ENJOY it". I will keep you posted on how things go and hopefully after 1.5 years, my leg will be 'normal' again and I can wear socks

and shoes without consideration of pain. Wouldn't that be nice! OH and for the first time since Oct 2006, I have been able to sit with my legs crossed and tucked underneath me because the 'tension' of the lesions is no longer present! YAY EN since 2003ENM since 2007
