Guest guest
Kandice, You can always go to the traditional doc, hear his story and then go home. You don't HAVE to take his advice, just PICK his brain a bit. If it's something like Cancer (unlikely) then he should know. If he thinks its nothing, then it's something that only natural thinkers can put a finger on. Don't be afraid to see the traditional doctors, just don't always follow their advice. cheryl e cellic@... http://pages.prodigy.net/cellic/cheryleliot.htm
Guest guest
I agree, see a doctor and see what they say. Males of all ages can get breast cancer, though this sounds as simple as a small cyst or injury related bump. Guest guest
you need to get it diagnosed ...that may mean seeing a specialist...go to a different town if you don't want anyone following up ...and pay for it with cash and don;t give them any info where they can find you, make it up if you have to....then go along your own way. Need advice Hi, My 11 year old son came to me and asked me why he has a " bump " under his nipple. I felt it and it was pea sized and hard. He says it only hurts when he messes with it and this was the first time he noticed it. Where do I go from here? I don't want to go to a medical doctor. I don't believe much in medical-type cancer treatment if that is what it is. But if I don't go mainstream, will I be in trouble for neglect? What are my options for dealing with this " bump " naturally? I have a Naturopath who has dealt with a couple of my other kids for allergies and eczema and such. Is this a good place to start? What should I be doing as far as cleansing and diet for him? I just really don't know where to begin... Thanks for anything you can offer. Blessings, Kandice Stay home with your family and earn income. kandyc@...
Guest guest
Blessings Kandice. I cannot even imagine what you are going through right now, as I have no children of my own, but have friends who have Cancer and are treating it holistically. They choose to utilize the " best of both worlds " by utlilizing traditional MDs (especially for diagnostic purposes), naturopaths and other " alternative " practioners to get well. Diet is critical for creating a healing environment, you might want to consider a macrobiotic diet (there is good info at www.macrobiotics.org) Love light and health to you and your son, GW On Fri, 01 Sep 2000 22:00:20 -0000, fibromyalgiacuredegroups wrote: Hi, My 11 year old son came to me and asked me why he has a " bump " under his nipple. Guest guest
My father had a pea sized bump on his head 9 years ago. He immidiately went to have it checked out and it was cancer. They gave him a 70% chance of beating it; he went through chemo for several months and he's been cancer free for 8 years now. :-) If he had waited, or used alternative treatments he would be dead now. People are always getting little cysts and bumps that are benign, but for your son's sake you must get it checked out and find out for sure what it is. What if it IS cancer?? Taking the holistic route for health is usually much better for something like FMS. It is also great to prevent cancer before it starts. But if God forbid he does have cancer you must take the traditional medicine route. If caught early cancer can usually be cured with the great technology we have today. The same medical techniques that completely suck for things like FMS work brilliantly for something like cancer. Where's diet and supplements and acupuncture are for the most part useless once cancer gets started. Even if you are personally against taking the traditional medicine route; if you dont the state will likely put you in prison for many years on serious charges. Of course; the odds of it being anything serious are so small; but please get it checked out to make sure. best regards..
Guest guest
Go to your doctor and at least have a scan done. Determine if it is a benign cyst or a cancer tumour. Do not wait. Know what you are treating. Len
Guest guest
I have experienced the tingling of feet at night as well....it is a challenge to get to sleep when this occurs ... so I have a hot soak in the tub at 1:00am and that usually relaxes me enough that I can sleep for a few hours. In reference to the way you feel when you wake up - morning stiffness seems to be quite common with EN....it takes a little bit longer in the morning for our bodies to 'loosen' up .... it used to take me 25 minutes TOPS to get ready for work ... now I wake up 2 hours early and allow about 30 minutes just to get the old bones feeling ok. I had to find ways to relax and be able to allow my body the time it requires to heal ... if you can change your work hours to later in the day - that helped me alot! you are not alone ... that is why this support group is so wonderful. I just posted an update on my EN and my visit to my specialist ... maybe this will help you as well. Stay well, > > I read everyones comments and I feel for everyone but do not share the > same pain.
