I woke up one morning with what appeared to be brightred insect bites covering my upper arms. The spotswere on my ankles too, but those were larger, fewer, and more inflamed. For days I thought these wereinsect bites and my doctor agreed. As time passed, however, the bumps grew in size. It looked like i hadping pong balls under my skin. The red spots on myarms disappeared, but the ones on my legs were turningpurple and feeling a lot like bruises. My shins feltsore when I walked. I went to the doctor again and hediagnosed me with EN. I'm not on any medication. However, I did switch birth control pills fromOrthotricyclin lo to Lutera exactly a month before theEN manifested. I've never experienced anything likethis before. I'm curious whether my new birth controlis causing my symptoms. The bumps appear to be goingaway. On my left leg, they're flat and look like minorbruises. On my right leg two bumps are stillprominent, but they don't hurt or look as red as theydid a couple days ago.6. List any other health conditions. The only thing I'm allergic to is penicillin. 7.
