Your welcome Tony.....Believe me, we no what your going through but it can

get better but we have to do everything possible to make it better.

Concentrate on nutrition for now and trying to avoid stress(Ha Ha) yep that

can be a hard one I know but it will make things worse.

Tony-

I've been doing guai for about a year and a half. You will want to titrate

your dose up from 300mgs 2x daily SLOWLY because otherwise you will take too

much, and free up more phosphate than your kidneys have the capacity to

handle..then you feel bad all the time (instead of cycling) while you are

clearing. I did this when I first started, and eventually had to stop for a

week or so and start again at the 300 mg level.

Now I have more good days than bad. Hope this helps.

Roseanna

Thank you for teaching me ... choosing oils is the easy part, it's the method

of hydration and other qualities that make this so interesting.

AFAIK, the only fractionated oil that is available to home crafters is

" fractionated coconut oil " . Based on descriptions of this oil, I

believe that the INCI name is Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride.

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride is defined as a mixed triester of glycerin

and caprylic and capric acids.

I like to use Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides because it is quite light

and has a nice feel on the skin.

Thanks to all of you who have helped me out with the baby and comfrey issues.

Rose, I was ROTFL with the mental picture of a baby licking his/her own bottom--

they're agile, but this would be over the top! Bettijo, I neglected to mention

the water

in my recipe, thus the Germaben, which I will probably scrap it for a pinch of

citric

acid (and smaller batches). pdjxxxwa, if I'm avoiding nut oils, shouldn't I

also avoid

sunflower? I'm thinking safflower is the way to go.

Anyway, thanks to everyone--I know where to take this from here.

A sunflower is not a nut...it is a seed. = )

, Just keep working through the book, come back and ask

questions when you need help. We are all just traveling down this path

called life.

I have a question, If you had no choice and had to live with two of

the following for the rest of your life and could get rid of one,

which would it be.

Suffer

Feel your pain

Feel your anxiety

Think about it,

Hi

Thank you for welcoming me to the support group. I have been reading

postings from other members and I feel that I am not alone. One member

mentioned about black spots on the legs after the EN. The colour of

my legs (the lower part up to the ankles) has never changed to normal

after the EN and whenever I press it, it leaves a dent and some

doctors even now when i visit the surgery think its oedema and i have

to explain and they do not know what EN is until they research it o n

the internet. My legs are mostly painful in Winter and Summer is a

great time, they never swell that much and ache.

Many thanks for all your emails.

Marie
