I have been suffering for over a year and the multiple ulcerations on my legs are getting worse. I have Ulcerative Colitis also - under control. I am unable to complete your application as I do not know how to cut and paste. (please don't laugh) The problem is that the dermatologists I have seen disagree with my Gastro. They are saying this is "neurodermatitis". My first biopsy was consistent with Pyoderma Gangrenosum. My Gastro is quite confident with his diagnosis of EN. Why are derms unable to treat or recognize this illness? I'm not asking for a miracle cure -- I just want the appropriate treatment. Thank you. Dimeo

I strongly echo 's question: Why do Derms have so much trouble

diagnosing PG (and even more scary, since they do, why do all the

other docs refer me to derms for a treatment plan when the derms

can't even get the diagnosis right)? All the different specialists I

went to recognized the PG before a derm FINALLY did. What's the deal?

Aren't they supposed to be the specialists most trained and mose

suitable to help us?
