Soft Doll-Making Workshop

Wednesdays: Jan 30, Feb 6 & Feb 13 at 7:00 pm

In this three-part craft workshop we will learn to make a bunting baby.

This is a perfect first doll for children, and an excellent way to begin to

explore the simple forms and natural materials used in Waldorf doll-making.

Made with soft cotton velour and stuffed with sheep’s wool, it is small

enough for children to cuddle, and is made to tuck into its own heart-shaped

pouch. Learn the basics to make a sculpted head and embroider a doll’s

face. Minimal sewing experience is required. All materials are provided, but

please bring your own scissors.

Workshop is limited to 12 participants. There are still a few spaces

left. Pre-registration is strongly recommended to reserve your place. Your check

should be made out to Anthroposophy NYC for the appropriate

fee (see below), and mailed to Phoebe (address below). Indicate “doll

workshop” on the memo line.

FEES: $60/$45 Non-Members, $45/$30 ASNYC Members… Plus Materials
