Hi Mo,

I hope you don't mind my putting in my 2c worth here. I am familiar

with the " tests " using the outstretched arm. It's called " Applied

Kinesiology " .

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Applied_kinesiology

In my opinion it is nothing more than a parlor trick. But if you

believe it, the " magic pills " will act as a placebo and the placebo

effect can be quite amazing.

Regarding blood in the stool, I would not be so quick to attribute it

to the medication. This is because EN is associated with Inflammatory

Bowel Disease and blood in the stools is a symptom of it. Also I think

any red blood would more likely come from the colon and the blood from

the stomach would more likely be occult [hidden] or possibly black and

tarry. I am sorry if this grosses any of our members out. I'm trying

to use medical terms. If the bleeding doesn't stop after you stop the

meds, and even if it does seem to have stopped, you can pick up a

simple " occult blood stool test " at the pharmacy for about $10 and see

if any invisible blood shows up. If it does, you should see a gastro

dr. and mention the EN.

I'm really sorry you are having to deal with this, and I hope you feel

better soon.

Love,

Hi Mo,

Yes, according to he currency converter

http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert.cgi

60 British pounds = about $US 118.00, quite a it for a placebo pills.

However, part of the placebo effect is believing you will get value

and most of us feel we get value when we pay a lot.

My chiropractor used to do the AK muscle testing and prescribe

homeopathy.

but I can't say I ever felt any difference from taking them. That said

EN is not a disorder that modern med has answers to either.
