Guest guest
Thank you to everyone for sharing their experiences. I'm a firm believer in being proactive about personal health and well-being, a result of numerous previous " oversights " with respect to medical issues. I have just returned now from the Dr. who has said I have Erythema Multiforme and said he was hesitant to give me antibiotics, as doesn't seem I have an infection, he gave me a different topical lotion, did mention prednesone(sp) , but was again hesitant as he didn't want to make it worse. He told me he'd like me to go to emergency and get a second opinion and would be interested in seeing me again next week to take a look. He also did mention he sees a case of this about once every four years, but typically as a reaction to medication. (I haven't been taking any, I hate meds) Does this diagnoses mean there is a possibility these nodules will ulcerate? At this point they seem to be bruising and still painful as ever, with most extreme swelling in the evening. I'm curious though because they are blistering or peeling in any way. Any advice where to focus on would be appreciated Thanks again, Pixx
